Cataract Gorge

Launceston, Tasmania, Australia
Photo Description :

It is easy to see why the early explorer William Collins described Cataract Gorge in 1804 as 'the most beautiful place in the world'. The First Basin at the Cataract Gorge features the longest single span chairlift in the world, a swimming pool, lookouts with spectacular views, bush walking tracks, native wildlife and a historic suspension bridge over the Tamar River, which is shown in this garden photograph.
